The Canature North America Story

Independent Water Tech is a trade name used to market to Independent Water Dealers in North America. The trade name is used by Canature North America Inc. in Canada and Mexico and by Canature USA Inc. in the United States. The companies have exclusive distribution rights for Shanghai Canature Environmental Products Co. Ltd. in their respective territories.

In 2001, Shanghai Canature Environmental Products Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Qu Jianguo, a well known entrepreneur and philanthropist in China. Canature is now one of the world’s largest manufacturers of residential and commercial water treatment systems and components. 

Located close to the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the Canature manufacturing campus covers an area of 2,000,000 sq. ft. with over 700,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and employing over 350 people. Canature has its own independent government authorized R&D Center and world-leading laboratory. Canature owns more than 100 patented technologies.
